About Me

Hi, I'm Connor Hutt and this is my blog for the cool class of English 101, I mean, 102. This blog's music will all be based on music that was produced on vinyl, spanning from before I was born to the new current bands that are pressing new records.  Honestly, I’m just here to talk about music that I love. I have a large background in music, I have been in choir and I’ve moved to dabbling in writing music. I’m hoping that with my experience, I will be able to show y’all some cool new music and show some new perspectives of music you already know. I am really excited to dive deep into music that I am really passionate about and to make an entire blog about it.
Some of y’all might be wondering why I chose to only talk about vinyl records on here. Well, the basics of it is that I had a record player in the house my entire childhood, but we didn’t have a working needle. So last Christmas, my friend bought me a turntable and a few records, and from that moment I was hooked. I love vinyl records, they feel really retro and they also sound so much fuller and better (there’s an actual reason for that, but anywho). Also, the current bands that are pressing vinyl records are of a special mindset, one that I share. Artists who release their new music on vinyl are much more focused on the art of music, in my opinion, they want you to not only hear the music, but also to feel it. With all this said, the bands that fall into this category include bands like twentyone pilots, J. Cole, and Mumford and Sons to David Bowie and The American Musical Hamilton. I am stoked to share my musical opinions with you through a new medium and can’t wait to get started!
See you on the flip side,
Connor Hutt
